LITERATURE AND ITS IDEALISM

LITERATURE CAN BE SAFE MAINLY IN IDEALISM. MATERIALISM IS not SELF SUFFICNENT TO PROVIDE SHELTER FOR ART AND LITIERATURE because literature goes beyond rational thinking and assumptions . it is an attitude of subjective collusion and operation a framework of linguistic fancy. Literature is a game of aesthetic intelligence which is only one block of intelligence and cannot claim as a comprehensive intellectual work. Output of intellectual work or scholarship cannot bring aesthetic beauty. Incomplete imagination striving for completion is aesthetic beauty. Idealism draws ideas and images from myths which breaks the boundary of imagination . .Folklore imagery like theyyam of north malabar and like ritual arts lay a dominant role in it. John Milton's Paradise Lost is full of myths , a beautiful narration in English literature. The implied energy of RANDAAM OOZHAM of M.T. Vasudevan Nair is its depth of idealistic imagery and myth. Idealism is the root of empowering the literature and art. Aesthetic beauty cannot be measured , evaluated and explained with material equations since it is a subjective claim of vision and temptation. Can aesthetic intelligence work in the platform of material interpretation is not well answered so far. Communism itself is an aesthetic beauty of philosophy, so called absolute philosophy of mankind where barriers of private interest and subjective vision is supposed to be abandoned. Rituals are the grammar of religion and faith. Breaking this grammar will provoke the religious fundamentalists . They cannot afford the evolution of these rituals and often dwell upon myths and tradition.
