·         Avoid conflict between spouses specially in front of your children

·         See that love is not to be hidden in your mind but to  express and enjoy.
·         Promote habit of appreciation.
·         Even the small  achievements of your child should get appreciation

·         Avoid poisons  of mind  -  ANGRY-JEALOUS-HATRED- SADNESS-HOSTILITY
·         Appreciation is a positive energy
·         Parental participation in learning is  essential
·         It is your support  in learning
·         You may just be  at the side  of your child while learning- or may give active support
·         It is   a mode of  moral support
·         Moral support generates mental energy
·         Help them to prepare a Home Study schedule
·         It is nothing but a Time Table
·         It helps your child  to save time and energy
·         It helps your child for TIME MANAGEMENT
·         Economy in time is ensured
·         Help them to develop learning skill-  a) Reading skill  b) writing skill  c) Listening skill  d) Speaking skill
·         Skill is  practical wisdom
·         Knowledge is conceptual power
·         Skill  is support for action
·         Skill and knowledge are interconnected
·         Skill highly helps personality development
·         Child should be assigned  with duties – simple duties- cleaning his room, arranging the books in an order etc.
·         This develops sense of responsibility
·         Money  should be spent only in accordance with  your capacity
·         Economy in expenditure is essential
·         Volume of money spent alone  for your child  does not mean love.
·         The purpose for which money spent also matters.
·         They should know what is their role in  the family.
·         They should be provided with reasonable time for recreation
·         How much time your child spent before the book is not the matter
·         Both quality and quantity of learning is important
·         Hence see the time spent and the quantity covered
·         Use the stop watch and see  the speed in  reading  and writing
·         You should have reasonable knowledge of their subjects and lessons.
·         Avoid procrastination—It may be  escapism.
·         Procrastination is the habit of postponing  your duty for a future time
·         Avoid frequent advice
·         See that your child will learn from your model
·         Not from your advice
·         Avoid sharing secrets in front your child
·         The attitude of frequent  scolding  should be  avoided
·         Keep a state of expectation and confidence
·         See that frequent conflict in the family may cause for delinquency
·         Delinquency is antisocial/non- ethical behavior in children
·         See that  parents are the first counselors  and not the professional counselors
·         See that problem children are the product   of  problem families
