Professionalism is an attitude of applying  specialised knowledge and the process of developing  absolute competency with an intention to achieve  a given goal. It aims comprehensive change activating  each and every  areas of  operation.  It is the management  tool of optimising  efficiency in all areas of operation in an organisation.

Hence the very intention of professionalisation is  maximising management efficiency. It is the process of 

maximising operation in an under utilised potential area.

Areas  of Professionalism:  An organisation as whole can be professionalised. It can be department- wise professionalisation.

Professionalisation in HR management:  Strategic management is the key to professionalisation of  of HR Department. It mainly include  specialisation and Training and Development. It includes  merit  rating techniques.
