INDIA NEEDS OPINION LEADERS
Cultural diversity is our blessing. With these diversity we move towards prosperity and growth. Within this diversity unity of people and nation develops promoting the welfare of our nation. We have been witnessing this status of development in the shadow of secularism. \Unfortunate is the present scene of our country where we witness communal riots and prejudice. It is unfortunate. We lack role of opinion leaders who can influence the mass with their inspiring personality and credibility.
Who are opinion leaders? They are respected personalities with utmost credibility. They can create an issue and can solve it in a positive way. Their role is issue based. An opinion leader can take over an issue, propagate it among masses and can enjoy mass support. Public opinion goes with opinion leaders. An excellent example for opinion leader is Mahathmaji. They have view that carries weight in a community. They are the catalysts for the formation of public opinion. They get mass support. Don,t be envy over it.
They have high social participation
They have high social impression and status
They have high social commitment. They are more innovative. They are more directive. It is better to have some degree of professional skill in the attitude.
Politics is everywhere in India but with least political skill. Skill is practical wisdom which is going to bring positive result. Unfortunate to say that the result of political skill is not at all satisfactory. There is severe political rivalry among political parties with vested interest. Politics when dominated by religion, caste, or race gets poisoned in principle. The very purpose of mankind is challenged here. We need Indians simply Indians just to win democracy for which a leader is needed, an OPINION LEADER.
